Testimonials

Genealogy Department

“For the past year, I have been coming to work with Kelly in the Genealogy Department. Kelly and I have been researching the Beel and Johnston families, and a lot of progress has been made. Just last week, I found a link between Jesse James and the paternal side of the family. I always suspected there was a relation, but the discovery gave me proof.” – Betty Wheeler

Computer Lab

“I am a disabled veteran who has suffered a traumatic brain injury and have a loss of vision in my left eye. I have no computer or internet at home, nor do I own a copier. I enjoy coming to the library and using their computers. It is a safe, quiet, clean space, and the employees are helpful when I need them. From time to time, I make copies, read things I am interested in, and make orders for medications that I can not do on my phone. If the Library had a donation jar, I would give because it is helpful to me.” – Larry Patterson

Littles in the Library

“Friday is our favorite day of the week thanks to the ‘Littles in the Library’ program. My kids get so excited to socialize with other families, and I enjoy getting to visit with all the moms. My children LOVE Mrs. Sloane Lott and the rest of the staff. We cannot say enough good things about the Library and all the amazing work it does for our community.” – Sarah Silas
